Getting your business seen on Facebook is not easy these days. With all the changing algorithms so regular with Facebook its becoming hard to keep up with the changes for small or new businesses who cant afford to ‘pay’ for advertising.
This doesn’t have to be the case if you learn a few simple tricks to get seen without paying for ad’s.
Everyone in business has a page, but not as many have a group. If you don’t have a group then you should consider it as part of your marketing just as much as you do your page.
Some reasons why you should consider a group:
- An awesome benefit of a group is you can get more interaction with your clients and customers and get them enjoying your brand more and easier than you can with a page.
- Unlike a page and having to get people to ‘like’ your page and then ‘hope’ to get seen, with a group you can just add ALL or a select group of people already your friends, directly to the group and your posts are instantly seen.
- Ask people to ‘share’ your group, but they can also ‘ADD’ their friends, and your numbers can skyrocket much faster and be seen more, than a page.
- People are less likely to leave your group due to having the ability to adjust settings, plus you show in their list of groups for more chance to be seen.
- You have control over how you run your group, from allowing posts to the people you allow to join. You can also set it from public to secret depending on how you want to be seen.
- You can ‘share’ posts from your page to your group and vice versa so you can still reach more people who may not be in your group or on your page so you can reach the wider audience without paying advertising.
- You can promote your page in your group if you like.
- You can still add your own business information in a group header image or any other preferred information.
SOME EXTRA TRICKS WITH A GROUP
- If you change the header image, then all of the members of the group will be notified – this is better than any MASS MESSAGING!
- If you change a group setting – all members of the group will be notified!
- You can tag people in the post or in a comment. Depending on your group settings, people can tag outside friends to posts for them to see, and also will know about your group and likely to join your group.
- You can have a group chat which can be good for some businesses as an added way to interact with clients or customers.
- People LOVE being part of a group, it makes them feel part of a community. A Page can feel more like advertising and not always as interactive or personal.
We hope this helps you with other ways to get the full benefit out of your Facebook business promoting without it having to cost a fortune.
