How to Remove the Facebook Shop

Facebook is always making changes and we recently noticed a new Shop feature on our page so we thought to check it out.

We got as far as adding it, then realised we had to sign up for a new payment gateway and decided not to proceed, however, removing it didn’t seem to be as easy as adding it! Finding out ‘how’to remove is simple, if you know where to find the option which is the task.

Once you click the ‘add shop section’, even if you don’t proceed, it will add a shop to the top of your page post feed and it will stay there until you remove it.

We are normally pretty good at these things, yet we found it to be a bit of a challenge so thought we will share our findings to help you if you got stuck like we did.

If you are wanting a shop with lots of features and works on your Facebook page, we recommend using ECWID. We have a few clients using this E-commerce and they have had nothing bad to say.
